Get to know us

We just employ five full time members of staff (including me!):

Gary Andrews is my right hand man and has worked here since we opened in 2004.  He grew up close to me (near Rathfriland) and now lives in Blackskull with his wife Catherine and their three sons.  We share a passion for racing motorcycles and although he can easily kick my ass on a motocrosser, the places would be reversed if we were to race on tarmac (at least that’s what I like to believe!).  Unfortunately for Gary... Harrison, Lewis and Jacob all race motocross now, so that's where all his spare time (& cash) will be going for the foreseeable future!

Scott Pyper joined our small team in 2017.  For the previous eight years he worked for my cousin Glenn (McCallister), at GM Tyres in Tandragee.  Scott lives just outside Waringstown with his wife Jilly and three young boys, Alex, Kai and Olly.  Like Gary and I, Scott enjoys some two-wheeled excitement when not at work.  Often on his Honda CBR600, but all three of us now enjoy the thrills (but not so much the spills) of mountain biking!

Daryl Alexander is the best car cleaner I have ever worked with.  From Donacloney, Daryl has worked here since 2006.  He started with no previous experience, received training from Autoglym, and has been invaluable ever since. His attention to detail and commitment to doing an excellent job is very much appreciated by us all.  Daryl competes at clay pigeon shooting and is as handy with a gun as Gary is with a motorbike.  I certainly wouldn't want to be in his sights!

Peter Gribben travels from the other side of Rathfriland to work here, and has done since 2010.  He took a year out in Australia during this time, but couldn't stay away.  He has also been trained by Autoglym and also does an excellent job of presenting our cars at their best.  When not doing this, Pete does some farming in his spare time and has an unusual fondness for sheep!

All four are excellent members of staff.  Apart from being punctual, reliable, friendly and hard working, the five boys are very well liked by our customers.  You can contact any one of them and be confident that they will do everything they can to help.
